REPORT:What a fantastic day this was. Why? There are a few reasons. Chief amongst those is that we met a wonderful man by the name of Bill.
What can be said about this man?
A lot.
What will I say? Not much.

Nah...... He's a top bloke that we've all come to know and love. He treated us like royalty that day.
Bill, you're a gentleman and a scholar mate. Your wit is a welcome addition to the SCG.
We started off the day being introduced to the 'Caravan of Courage'.

Check out the Redneck behind Rah!!! - "Git offa my land"

Inside!!!
So we got changed and prepared to head out and meet the wonderful kiddies and adults of the RAAF base.
What a response!!! We could barely walk 5 feet without being mobbed.

Here we are with Bill's boss. He was stoked to see us.

Bill gets some BFG goodness.
All that trooping really took it's toll.

All better.
Trooper down!!! I repeat we have a trooper down!!!

Clear!!!
After we got patched up Bill took us over to visit Fighter World!!! What a fantastic place!

One of the operators saw us coming and attacked us with a feather duster!! We stated our intentions and relations improved.

HFG!!!

TK 5057 you are cleared for take-off.

Houston, we have a problem.

Rebels located. Fire for effect....
After Fighter Town we headed back to the field and wowed the kids some more and then Bill fed us.

"Ma, git my gun"
Bill then took us up to the control tower for a tour. We met 2 of his colleagues and got to check out some of the equipment that they use to control the air space in the vicinity.

Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full.

Next up came an awe inspiring display of air superiority. The F-18 Hornet.
What a sight to behold! It came roaring over and we stood transfixed as the pilot put it through it's paces.

Soon after TK-7184 and the lovely Tara arrived and Mack got to test drive his Biker Scout costume.

We trooped some more.

And some more.

Incidentally, the child seen poking TK-8351 mysteriously disappeared.

And now for the money shot....

Exterminate!!!
I'm so glad we didn't shoot (well...bludgeon) for we gained a Bill that day.
Win!!!
